About Us
Kya Kwanga Driver Training is based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Our aim is to provide the best quality driver training for our students - all levels of pupil are welcome from complete novices, to full licence holders requiring refresher training. We also offer Pass Plus courses for those drivers who have passed the practical test and would like to reduce insurance premiums, plus gain valuable extra experience of motorways, night driving etc.
You can see more photographs of our car on the Lessons page but we use a modern and very easy to drive dual-controlled Ford Fiesta Style Climate, with airconditioning for the summer months.
Our Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) is Mark Lancaster who is originally from the Harrogate area. After 13 years in the Army, Mark moved to Johannesburg, South Africa in 1993, returning home to North Yorkshire in 2006.
Mark has a wide range of driving experience from other parts of the World: South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique, Swaziland, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Cyprus, Lebanon, United States, Canada and Australia. Apart from cars, Mark also has a varied experience of driving vehicles from HGV's, amphibious 6 wheelers and even 56 tonne main battle tanks (not included on our courses!!)
As Kya Kwanga Driver Training is indepedently owned, we can provide tailor-made training packages to suit every requirement. From learners who have never even sat in a driving seat to experienced licence holders, we will organise a driving course suited to you.
