Semi-Intensive/Intensive Driving Courses
These are sometimes called "crash driving courses" but are the fastest way possible for learners to learn to drive, take the official driving test, pass and gain a full UK car driving licence all in a short period of time; normally anything from 3 to 8 weeks. We also have an intensive course taken over a 7-10 day period.
Popular with learners of all ages, a semi-intensive driving course makes it possible to learn with a 2-6 week course what could take 14 months to learn if taking only a 1 or 2 hours in driving lessons each week with a driving school ADI - (Source: Department for Transport UK)
How long should it take to pass a driving test?
Research obtained from the DSA shows that a learner driver taking regular tuition will on average, need 45 hours of professional tuition combined with 22 hours of private tuition to reach the standard required for the driving test, some will need more. So you can see that if you need a driving licence quickly, only an intensive course will do the job.
